Aim and Format of the School

This school aims to bring together mathematicians (from number theory, ...) and theoretical physicists (from QFT and string theory, ...).

The meeting at les Houches, between the 10^th and 21^rst of March 2003, will have plenary lectures and seminars by participants on more specialized topics.

The number of participants is limited to 70 peoples, due to space limitation in Les Houches.

Les Houches Centre for Physics is located in the French Alps, about an hour from Geneva and an hour from Annecy. The Centre has a tradition of organising Schools, Workshops and Schools for more than three decades now and hoasts an excellent library, and provides all the facilities for work and discussions.
