New edition for the Statistics & Computer Science Day for Data Science in Paris-Saclay

As every year, IHES was delighted to host the Statistics & Computer Science Day for Data Science at Paris-Saclay on 5 February 2021. Due to the current health context, the conference was held entirely on video-conference, via Zoom.

Organized by Thanh Mai Pham Ngoc (LMO) and Charles Soussen (L2S), the aim of this statistical and computer science day is to bring together mathematicians and computer scientists around some talks on recent results from statistics and machine learning. Various topics in machine learning, optimization, deep learning, or optimal transport will be presented.

Invited speakers were: Guillaume Charpiat (LRI), Lenaïc Chizat (LMO), Emilie Chouzenoux (CVN), Agnès Desolneux (Centre Borelli), Gaël Richard (Télécom Paris) and Gaël Varoquaux (INRIA Parietal).
