We are optimistic that the health situation linked to the Covid-19 pandemic will continue to improve in many countries, especially in France. We therefore hope this summer school will be held face-to-face. However, it is likely that some preventive measures will still be in place at the time of our meeting. Current measures include holding a health pass to travel to France and access CIRM. The vaccines accepted in France are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. In addition, some countries, including China and Japan, currently impose quarantines on travelers.
In order to be able to organize the summer school in the best possible conditions, we have decided to anticipate the evolution of these travel restrictions. Depending on the inability of Chinese and Japanese participants to travel, we will organize twin summer schools at the Morningside Center in Beijing and at the University of Tokyo. We hope that these measures will not be necessary and that we can welcome you all to Luminy in a few months!
