Number theory, Physics and Geometry, Les Houches, March 2003

Scientific Program

This session of Les Houches Winter school will take place between the 9^th and 21^rst of March 2003, and will be made of a series of plenary lectures and seminars by participants on more specialized topics.

Seminars should last one hour including the questions

Important Notice: Participants exceptionnally not staying for the full school are requested to arrive a Sunday and leave before the next Sunday.Applications for the full school will be considered in strict priority

The main themes will be:

Part I: Dynamical systems and Number theory and random matrices
Part II: Polylogarithms and Perturbative physics
Part III: Symmetries and nonperturbative physics

In addition to lectures and seminars working groups will be organized. A tentative list of theme is

Euler products in QFT
Modular forms and generalisations
Random matrix theory
Extended objects and boundary field theories
Applications of Renormalisation group ideas in Mathematics
Dynamical zeta functions
