Sami Douba's Webpage
I am a Huawei Young Talents Program Fellow at the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques, under the mentorship of Fanny Kassel. Broadly speaking, I am interested in the representation theory of finitely generated infinite groups and its interactions with geometry, topology, dynamics, and commutative algebra.
I completed my Ph.D. in 2022 at McGill University, where I was supervised by Piotr Przytycki and Dmitry Jakobson.
I am co-organizing the 13th iteration of Young Geometric Group Theory (YGGT), to be held April 7-11, 2025, at the University of Copenhagen.
Here is my CV.
