Slava Rychkov joins the Institute as a permanent professor

Slava Rychkov has been a permanent professor at IHES since October 1st, 2017. He is a theoretical physicist developing approaches to strongly coupled quantum and conformal field theories which are not exactly solvable.

A general audience conference on November 30

Jacques Livage, a chemist and holder of the Condensed Matter Chemistry Chair at Collège de France, and a member of the French Academy of Science, will give a conference titled "bio-inspired materials, from the art of fire to soft chemistry". The conference will be in French only.
