Each year, IHES selects approximately 20 applicants for (2+1) year postdoctoral research visits in mathematics, theoretical physics and theoretical biology starting at the begining of the academic year. In addition, a dozen PhD students mostly affiliated to Université Paris-Saclay are hosted at the Institute for the duration of their thesis.
