
Tribute to Yvonne Choquet-Bruhat and Cécile DeWitt-Morette
On April 24, 2025, a garden pavilion was inaugurated in the Bois-Marie park at IHES, in honor of Yvonne Choquet-Bruhat and Cécile DeWitt-Morette—two pioneering figures in physics and mathematics who left a lasting legacy on the Institute.
This pavilion is envisioned as a space of memory, knowledge, and dialogue—a place of science, faithfully reflecting the spirit that inspired both Yvonne Choquet-Bruhat and Cécile DeWitt-Morette.
